Redefining “Suffering”

I have realized is that in 90% of our lives, we really do not have an “issue” following  what GOD says is right to DO, however the last 10% holds a TON of struggles. Paul clearly shows us, we SHOULD be “suffering” on some level. But really, it should be from a “spiritual-stretch”.

Bank-Robbed?

It’s time to share that I recently discovered I really wanted to have some “financial gains” in my new business because THAT would show that I was a “coaching success” (aka, not a failure). Somewhere in my soul, I wanted to see my “success” through a financial goal. But, that wasn’t how it worked out. ’Cause as much as I worked and worked and worked at “bringing money in,” well, COVID came along, insurance didn’t cover my role, paying “clients” came…and went…and soon, the “dollars” just didn’t add up to what I wanted.

Lord-Led Leaders

God totally calls us ALL into caring for those in the world. But if we look at HOW we are called to be Lord-Led Leaders we will see God so clearly commands us to give our time, attention and energy to our Spiritual “homes,” marital “homes,” parental “homes” and physical “homes” — BEFORE even thinking about serving OUTSIDE of those homes. He says to follow this order faithfully and then POOF! Spiritual peace, prosperity and purpose pop into your world, and then, and only then, you can pop out and serve God well.

I challenge you to give 1 Timothy, Chapter 3 a read and then hop on over and read what I have learned about in my journey to become a Lord-Led Leader!

BUT your brain can only choose to “care about” those things for so long until you realize your body is moving on: it will sag, shake, jiggle, wiggle, and then you have to make a decision about just “why and what” you will be living for.
And GOD certainly didn’t just let me move through this without a bit of HIS “input.” Join me in exploring what I found in 1 Timothy, Chapter 2 that helped me set some “Heart-Smart Goals”!

Your Little Voice

Well, think about it. All day long we face and make decisions based on the “voices” inside our head: telling, yelling, guiding, deciding, connecting and correcting our options — and, well, those “voices” are just FULL of opinions!!
